Who we are
Wilmington NC Tree Removal is a free quote service. We connect Wilmington-area homeowners with independent local tree companies for free, no-obligation quotes. We do not perform tree work, and the companies you hear from are separate businesses, not part of this site.
Information you give us
When you use our quote form, we collect what you choose to enter: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the service you're interested in and any details you add about your trees or stumps. Only your name and phone number are required. We don't ask for payment details, Social Security numbers or passwords, and you don't need an account to use the site.
FormSubmit
Our quote form is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form service. When you press submit, your entries go to FormSubmit, which delivers them to us by email. FormSubmit handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy. This site does not keep your form entries in a public database.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages people visit and how they find the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can block or clear cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the site will still work.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, and we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and site performance. Cloudflare describes this tool as privacy-first: it does not use cookies to track visitors. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare also processes standard technical data such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to deliver and protect the site.
How we use your information
We use your details to respond to your request and arrange your quote. That can include contacting you by phone, text or email to confirm what you need, and sending your request to tree companies as described below.
Who receives your request
To get you a quote, we send your contact details and job details to one or more independent local tree companies that serve your area. They use it to contact you, arrange a visit and give you a quote. Once a company receives your request, its own privacy practices apply to its copy, so ask that company how it handles your information. We don't publish your request or sell it to unrelated marketers. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests only as long as we need them to respond, arrange your quote and keep reasonable business records, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to stop contacting you, or to correct or delete the information we hold about you. Send your request through the quote form with a note in the details box. We can't delete copies already held by a company that received your request, so contact that company directly as well.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on their own property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
